Vernaccia - Red Sparking Wine

Harvesting: hand-picked and placed delicately in small baskets beginning the second half of October
Grape Processing and Maturation: after a soft pressing, fermentation occurs on the vinasse at controlled temperature. The cuvée is then ready for the sparkling process.
Sensory Evaluation: ruby red with purple highlights shading toward garnet in color; red foam with lasting and fine perlage; full, intense aroma with diverse notes of ripe red fruit, jam and flowers; smooth, balanced palate from soft tannins; pleasant, slightly bitter note to the finish
Alcohol Content: 12 vol.%
Serving Temperature: 14-16℃ (56-60℉)
Recommended Food Pairings: perfect with chocolate-based desserts, traditional cakes or cookies
