Soil Description: slightly alkaline due to the presence of red lime
Training System: guyot; 5.500 vines/acre
Productivity: 2 tons/acre
Harvesting: only the best bunches, hand-picked in early October and placed delicately in baskets
Grape Processing and Maturation: the must is extracted by direct pressing and bleeding of the peel. Fermentation takes place at a low, controlled temperature in small stainless-steel vats
Sensory Evaluation: bright rose color with vivid garnet highlights; pleasant aroma of red fruits including wild strawberry, red cherry and pomegranate; fresh and fruity palate with light spicy notes
Alcohol Content: 12,5 vol.%
Serving Temperature: 10°-12°C (46°-50°F)
Recommended Food Pairings: great with appetizers; also goes superbly with fish dishes (particularly fish soups and baked fish), fresh cheese and poultry
